Dirty Little Habit

Here's Aubree with her dream car birthday surprise, a 1971 VW Bug. According to Steve, it is the first model Super Beetle. Campbelle named it Cutie, so that is probably what it will be called. Aubree can't drive it quite yet--it's getting a couple of things done so we can register it. The garage working on it (Vintage German Motors) has a sign with the VW emblem and "Dirty Little Habit" written under it. I guess we have picked up a new habit, hopefully it will be a good one!

Time to Brag

We have had a rough couple of months, and I was thinking today that I need to take some time and focus on the positive. I am so proud of my girls and the talents they are developing! Here is a video of Aubree singing at a Solo and Ensemble event at her school. She moved on to Regional, and from there is moving on to State! Today is her 17th birthday and I am so proud of the person she is!

I feel really blessed to get to be the mom of such beautiful young women--inside and out. They amaze me.
